Bilateral
Sofia April 26–29 |
During the visit to Bulgaria of a delegation of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro, a cooperation agreement was signed with the Main Archival Administration at the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria. |
Belgrade June 6–8 |
At a meeting of the directors of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro and the State Archives of the Republic of Macedonia the realization of the Agreement on Mutual Cooperation was discussed. |
Belgrade June 14–19 |
A two-member delegation of the Pan-Russian Scientific and Research Institute for Archival and Documentary Science (VNIIDAD) visited Belgrade. On this occasion, Institute Director, Prof. M. V. Larin, PhD (history), held a lecture on the Scientific Research of VNIIDAD in connection with electronic documents and senior research associate of the Institute, Mrs. V. G. Larina, Master (history), spoke about the current problems in the creation of a modern scientific and information apparatus for the documents of the Archival Fund of the Russian Federation. |
Belgrade September 4–10 |
A two-member delegation of the Main Archival Administration of the City of Moscow visited Belgrade, made up of First Deputy Administration Director М. М. Gorinov and I.V. Kondrakova, deputy Director of the Central Archives of the City of Moscow. Under the existing Protocol on Cooperation between the Yugoslav Archives and Federal Archival Service of the Russian Federation, a cooperation agreement was signed between the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro and the Main Archival Administration of the City of Moscow. |
Belgrade October 3–6 |
A three-member delegation of the State Committee of the Ukrainian Archives, headed by Committee President G. V. Boryak, visited the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro. |
Belgrade November 9–14 |
During a visit of representatives of the State Archives Administration of the People’s Republic of China, headed by Deputy Director of the Administration Li Minghua, an agreement on cooperation was signed and the exhibition of Chinese Archives documents entitled the Jewels of Chinese Archives was opened. |
Budapest November 27–29 |
At the invitation of the director of the Hungarian State Archives, a three member delegation of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro visited Budapest. An agreement on cooperation was signed and joint publication of collections of documents was agreed on. |
Banja Luka December 14–16 |
The Archives of Serbia and Montenegro was represented by one worker at the symposium of archival workers of Bosnia-Herzegovina on the situation and problems in the protection of archival holdings and registration material at their creators, held in the organization of the Archives of Republika Srpska of Banja Luka. |

Moscow February 8–11 |
Two workers of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro attended the international course on standards for the description of archival documents, held in the organization of the Pan-Russian Scientific and Research Institute for Archival and Documentary Science. |
Radenci (Slovenia) April 5–8 |
Four workers of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro attended the international conference on the Technical and Content Problems of Electronic Archiving. |
Paris April 5 - June 15 |
One Archives worker attended the international professional archival practice (STIA), held in the organization of the French Culture Ministry, Directorate of French Archives and French Cultural Centre in Belgrade. |
