It evaluates, classifies and systematises archival holdings, creates means of information about archival holdings, determines groups of the funds, separates funds and collections, makes professional instructions for work with archival holdings, implements the standards of the International Council on Archives in the field of organisation and processing, studies and implements the international archival theory and practice.
