Arhiv Jugoslavije - Department for Information and Publication of Archival Holdings and International Archival Cooperation

It creates the general means of information (guides and bibliographies) and puts the existing means of information in the electronic database; it communicates with the public by issuing oral and written statements to the users of archival holdings, it cooperates with the media, organises history classes with demonstrations (in cooperation with secondary schools and university); realises the exhibitions of archival holdings, makes collections of documents, professional archive magazine and other publications; it conducts research in other archives for the purpose of amending its own funds; it cooperates with the archives and similar institutions in the country and abroad and with international archival and similar organisations; it looks after the implementation of standards of the International Council on Archives.
