The exhibition of archive documents Prince Pavle Karadjordjević - King Regent 1934-1941, by historians–archivists Gojko Malović PhD and Dušan Jončić of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro – was opened before a very large audience at the exhibition room of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro on September 26, 2007. After an introductory speech by Archives Director Miladin Milošević, Serbian Culture Minister Vojislav Brajović opened the exhibition. In addition to high-ranking state officials, members of the diplomatic corps, researchers, culture and public figures, Prince Paul’s daughter, Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjević, was also present. Her contribution to the exhibition was a portrait of Prince Pavle painted by Savelj Sorino in 1937.
The exhibited documents are from the funds and collections of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro and from the written legacy of Prince Pavle, received from the Columbia University in New York in the form of microfilms.
The exhibition attracted a lot of media and public attention. |

Exhibition of archival documents “Prince Pavle Karađorđević, Prince Regent 1934-1914" was visiting exhibition in the Republic of Srpska in Gacko was opened on May 8, 2014. Princess Jelisaveta Karađorđević and Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia Miladin Milošević addressed the audience in the City Cultural Center.

Memorial Park Museum “21 October” in Kragujevac set up an exhibition of documents Prince Pavle Karađorđević - King Regent 1934-1941. The occasion for opening the exhibition was the Museum Night event on 19 May 2012. The exhibition provides a thematic illustration of the history of Yugoslavia through activities of Prince Pavle Karađorđević as Royal Regent. Divided into 23 chapters, with an introductory legend, the documents on display present the life of Prince Pavle and the efforts to save Yugoslavia from devastations of war in the troubled years threatening peace in Europe. The exhibition was opened by Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, Miladin Milošević. On behalf of the host institution, the guests were welcomed by Mr Zlatko Milojević, Director of Memorial Park Museum “21 October”. The opening was attended by distinguished guests of the town of Kragujevac. During the opening, short films on Prince Pavle from Yugoslav Film Archive were shown.

PETROVAC NA MLAVI, December 28, 2010 |
Organized by the Petrovac na Mlavi Heritage Museum and the Archives of Yugoslavia, the exhibition of archival documents Prince Pavle Karadjordjević - King Regent 1934 -1941, was opened in the gallery of the Museum. Mrs. Andjelka Stanisavljević , director of the Petrovac na Mlavi Heritage Museum, spoke about cooperation between the two institutions, and the exhibition was opened by Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia. The opening was attended by Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjević who spoke about Pavle Karadjordjević, her father and about his historical role in the years after the assassination of King Alexander in 1934, until the fall of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in April 1941. The presence of Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjević caused great interest of the citizens of Petrovac na Mlavi.

The Historical Archives of Kikinda and the Archives of Yugoslavia opened the exhibition of archival documents of Prince Pavle Karadjordjevic – King Regent 1934-1941 on 9th December 2010 in Kikinda. The honor of opening the exhibition was entrusted to the daughter of Prince Pavle, Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjević and Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia.

The Historical Archives of Pozeravac and the Archives of Yugoslavia opened the exhibition of archival documents of Prince Pavle Karadjordjević – King Regent 1934-1941 at the ceremonial hall of the Municipal Assembly of Pozarevac on 5th May 2010, the Archives Day. The honor of opening the exhibition was entrusted to the daughter of Prince Pavle, Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjevic. Jasmina Nikolić, Director of the Požarevac Archives, spoke about the regency period of Prince Pavle. Miladin Milošević, Acting Director of the Archives of Yugoslavia, where the exhibition was organized, spoke about the history of the Archives of Yugoslavia that has been existing for 60 years and possesses rich archival material about the country that existed for as long as 88 years, from 1918 until 2006, under various names. At the opening a film from the Archives of the Yugoslav Cinematheque was shown about the state activities of Prince Pavle Karadjordjević.

At the exhibition hall of the Historical Archives of Zrenjanin, on December 9, 2008, an opening of the exhibition of archival documents “Prince Pavle Karadjordjević - King Regent 1934-1941” was held. Nada Boroš, Director of the Zrenjanin Historical Archives, Miladin Milošević, acting Director of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro and Jelisaveta Karadjordjević, whose presence invoked great interest of the citizens of Zrenjanin, talked about the exhibition. The exhibition was opened by the President of the Municipal Assembly of the city of Zrenjanin Aleksandar Marton.

Within the celebration of Day and Patron Saint's Day of the City of East Sarajevo, in agreement with representatives of the municipality of East New Sarajevo, the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro sent its exhibition of photographs and documents Prince Pavle Karadjordjević - King Regent 1934 -1941, which has been organized at cities and towns throughout the Republika Srpska for some time now.
The exhibition was opened at the Cultural Centre in East New Sarajevo on September 12, where it should remain until September 19, when it will be transferred to the Cultural Centre in Pale.
The opening was given special importance by the presence of Prince Pavle's daughter Princess Jelisaveta Karadjordjević, who observed the kind invitation of the hosts to attend in person. Also, the presence of Mayor of the City of East Sarajevo, Mr. Radomir Kezunović, showed how much importance has been given to this exhibition. In addition to them, the guests were also addressed by Mr. Zelenović, director of the Cultural Centre, and Mr. Miladin Milošević, Director of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro, who informed them about the importance of the historic role of Prince Pavle in the turbulent years following the assassination of King Alexandar in 1934 and until the attack at the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in April 1941 as well as about the life in emigration of the prince and his family.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by a large number of citizens of East Sarajevo, who watched the exhibited photos and documents and a documentary on the life and work of Prince Pavle with great attention.

On the occasion of the marking of its 55th anniversary, the Archives of the Republika Srpska in cooperation with the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro prepared the exhibition Prince Pavle Karadjordjević - King Regent 1934 -1941. After Banja Luka, the exhibition was presented in Mrkonjić Grad in the modern and attractive exhibition room of the Petar Kočić Cultural Centre. The exhibition was opened at 8 PM on June 27, 2008. The exhibition was opened by Director of the Archives of the Republika Srpska Ljiljana Radošević and deputy head of the Mrkonjić Grad Municipal Assembly Slobodan Čočkalo. After the opening, the documentary Prince Pavle Karadjordjević, which follows Prince Pavle's activities between 1913 and 1939, was shown.

An opening of the exhibition "Prince Pavle Karadjordjević - King Regent 1934-1941" was held on May 9, 2008 in the gallery of "Nikola Pašić" foundation as part of the events marking the City of Zaječar day. The exhibition was opened by vice president of the City of Zaječar's Assembly Sladjana Joković-Krstić. Acting Director of The Archives of Serbia and Montenegro Miladin Milošević emphasized at the opening that these guest exhibition showings are just one of the aspects of a long-standing collaboration with the National Museum "Zaječar" and the "Nikola Pašić" foundation.

On April 25, 2008 the Inter-municipal Archives in Čačak marked six decades of work with an opening of the exhibition of documents about Prince Pavle Karadjordjević (1893-1976), Regent to the throne 1934-1941.
Acting director of the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro Miladin Milošević opened the exhibition and pointed out that the documents shown are just a part of Prince Pavle's legacy valuable for "our coming to terms with the past in order to understand the future better". He said that the documents are also a valuable testament to Prince Pavle's efforts in the use of his diplomatic abilities to draw the throne, country and its people away from the war with Germany and its allies.
Director of the Inter-municipal Archives in Čačak Zorica Matijević greeted the guests on behalf of the host. The Prince's son HRH Prince Alexandar Karadjordjević was also present at the opening, and a film about Royal Palace Christmas eve ceremonies, kept in the Yugoslav film library, was also shown. The exhibition featured more than 200 documents from fifteen library holdings and reference collections kept in the Archives of Serbia and Montenegro. Many documents are featured for the first time, especially the ones from the Prince's legacy which were kept in the University of Columbia USA.
